How does crawl space encapsulation work in Council Bluffs?
Council Bluffs is built on two kinds of ground, the loess bluffs to the east and the Missouri River bottoms to the west, and a crawl space on either can hold damp air under the floor. Epp's Omaha crew encapsulates it as a complete system: a full crawl space liner over the dirt floor and walls, sealed vents, and a dehumidifier sized to the space, which together address high humidity in the house above. A sagging floor and settled posts are Council Bluffs crawl space repair, done first so the liner goes over a sound structure.

"Homeowners ask me to clean the mold. I don't clean mold. I make it impossible for mold to grow. Stop the water, drop the humidity down to where mold can't live, and the colony dies on its own. Then a remediator scrubs the surfaces clean and it stays clean."

What Omaha customers say
Brenton and Sam were both really great to work with. I felt like everything was well explained & the whole process was quick and seamless.
Work done to-date is high quality, however I'm not satisfied with the 1'" elevation difference between the last pad (south end) of the sidewalk and the driveway/ neighbor's walk. Can this be fixed? Also, the project was expected to be completed in 2-3 days but its been weeks and it still not complete. This was not a great incontinence just had to recontact, and review before getting the final corner poured. There is sealing yet to finish on the corner and a few mud jack holes to patch.
Fantastic company. They did a great job with the carbon fiber straps in my basement. Planning to get have push piers installed in the summer to fix the settlement in one corner of my house so I'll definitely be coming back to Epp for that as well
