Foundation Repair Warranties

Epp Foundation Repair warrants that installed push piers and helical piers will stop further settlement of the repaired area for the lifetime of the structure from the date of installation, or Epp Foundation Repair will provide the labor and materials, at no cost to the customer, to repair, replace, or adjust the pier.

Only structures piered crack to crack, crack to corner, or corner to corner are eligible for this warranty. Any area of the structure, exterior or interior, not supported by Epp Foundation Repair installed piers is excluded.

Heave or upward movement of the foundation due to soil expansion is excluded, along with consequential damage to concrete, brick, mortar, sheetrock, wallpaper, paint, rigid materials, or furnishings.

Vertical control benchmarks established by Epp Foundation Repair after installation are the sole method for determining future vertical movement.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by slope failure, soil creep, earthquake, flood, seismic events, tornadoes, or other acts of God.

This warranty is not valid until full payment for the work is collected. It is made in lieu of all other warranties, obligations, or liabilities expressed or implied. There are no other verbal or written warranties.

Epp Foundation Repair warrants the installed steel I-beam wall bracing system to stop further inward movement of the wall for the lifetime of the structure, or Epp Foundation Repair will provide the labor and materials, at no cost to the customer, to correct further movement.

Walls that Epp Foundation Repair does not anchor corner to corner are not warranted. The steel I-beam system stabilizes the wall; it does not straighten the wall.

Horizontal control benchmarks established by Epp Foundation Repair after installation are the sole method for determining future horizontal movement.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by slope failure, soil creep, earthquake, flood, seismic events, tornadoes, or other acts of God.

Walls that Epp Foundation Repair does not anchor corner to corner are not warranted. The wall anchor system stabilizes the wall; it does not straighten the wall.

The customer may tighten installed wall anchors as recommended by the manufacturer, but assumes all liability for damage caused by over tightening.

Horizontal control benchmarks established by Epp Foundation Repair after installation are the sole method for determining future horizontal movement.

Coverage for a bowed wall applies only to walls bowed up to 3 inches. Walls that Epp Foundation Repair does not anchor corner to corner are not warranted. The carbon fiber system stabilizes the wall; it does not straighten the wall.

Horizontal control benchmarks established by Epp Foundation Repair after installation are the sole method for determining future horizontal movement.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by slope failure, soil creep, earthquake, flood, seismic events, tornadoes, or other acts of God.

Epp Foundation Repair warrants a complete interior drain tile system, meaning drain tile, vapor barrier, and sump pump installed together, for the lifetime of the structure from the date of installation. A system that does not include all three components is covered under a 25-year warranty instead.

Wall seepage is covered only up to the height of the installed vapor barrier. A vapor barrier 32 inches tall or shorter is warranted only up to that height. A vapor barrier installed to the full height of the foundation wall is warranted for that full height.

This warranty does not cover condensation, floor crack seepage, wall seepage above the vapor barrier height, systems repaired or altered by others, sewer backups, gutters and downspouts, floor drains, door jambs, discharge lines, floods, or drain tile installed by others. Sump pumps and mechanical parts carry the manufacturer's warranty only. This warranty does not guarantee the drain tile system to be radon safe.

Epp Foundation Repair warrants installed slab piers to stabilize the installed area for ten years from the date of installation. No lifting warranty is provided.

Settlement of any slab area not supported by Epp Foundation Repair installed slab piers is excluded.

Epp Foundation Repair warrants installed post beam jacks to stop further settlement of the repaired area for five years from the date of installation, or Epp Foundation Repair will provide the labor and materials, at no cost to the customer, to repair, replace, or adjust the jack.

Any area of the structure not supported by Epp Foundation Repair installed post beam jacks is excluded, along with consequential damage to concrete, brick, mortar, sheetrock, wallpaper, paint, rigid materials, or furnishings. Environmental conditions such as moisture or humidity may require additional systems at the customer's expense.

This warranty is not valid until full payment for the work is collected. It is made in lieu of all other warranties, obligations, or liabilities expressed or implied. There are no other verbal or written warranties.

Epp Foundation Repair warrants the PolyLift® concrete lifting installation against failure of the installed polyurethane material to perform its intended lifting or stabilization function, for five years from substantial completion, when that failure is due solely to defects in materials or workmanship. Epp Foundation Repair does not guarantee levelness or horizontal movement.

This warranty is conditioned on acceptance of the PolyLift® Concrete Lifting Addendum and Expectations Sheet. Non-compliance voids the warranty.

Joint sealant, where in scope, is warranted separately for 60 days from installation to remain intact, materials and workmanship only.

This warranty excludes movement from unsuitable soils, erosion, washout, groundwater, or other site factors; pre-existing structural compromise; adjacent untreated slabs; and movement from loading, traffic, construction, or site alteration.

This warranty is not valid until full payment for the work is collected. It is made in lieu of all other warranties, obligations, or liabilities expressed or implied. There are no other verbal or written warranties.

Epp Foundation Repair warrants the workmanship of an installed egress window for five years from the original installation date. Epp Foundation Repair will replace, at no cost to the customer, any failure caused by its workmanship.

Epp Foundation Repair does not warrant that the egress window or window well is waterproof, and does not cover damage caused by a leaking window or window well.

This warranty is not valid until full payment for the work is collected. It is made in lieu of all other warranties, obligations, or liabilities expressed or implied. There are no other verbal or written warranties.

Epp Foundation Repair warrants that, for 25 years from the date of installation, water will not infiltrate the basement through the Egress Window System. This certificate covers repair of the infiltration itself; it does not cover damage caused by water infiltration.

This certificate carries the same 5-year workmanship warranty described above for the egress window installation.

This warranty is not valid until full payment for the work is collected. It is made in lieu of all other warranties, obligations, or liabilities expressed or implied. There are no other verbal or written warranties.

Epp Foundation Repair warrants the repaired crack or pipe penetration to be free from defects in material for two years. No water will seep through and collect on the floor at the repaired location; if it does, Epp Foundation Repair will apply whatever fix it determines suitable to stop the water.

Epp Foundation Repair is responsible only for the repaired area and is not responsible for damage to contents.

This warranty is void if Epp Foundation Repair determines that settlement or bowing of the walls is causing further wall movement that reopens the crack repair or pipe penetration.

This warranty is not valid until full payment for the work is collected. It is made in lieu of all other warranties, obligations, or liabilities expressed or implied. There are no other verbal or written warranties.

Epp Foundation Repair warrants installed concrete flatwork against material defects and workmanship errors that cause the flatwork to fail to perform as intended under normal use, for one year from substantial completion. Epp Foundation Repair will repair or replace the affected section at its discretion.

This warranty is conditioned on the Concrete Flatwork Addendum and Expectations Sheet. Non-compliance voids the warranty. Concrete flatwork is not warranted to remain crack free, nor is it warranted to provide improved drainage unless explicitly stated in writing.

This warranty excludes hairline and shrinkage cracking, surface checking and crazing, color and texture variation, scaling or spalling from deicing salts or freeze-thaw exposure, subgrade settling or heaving beyond Epp Foundation Repair's control, improper drainage or site conditions, and loads, vehicles, or misuse by the customer.
