Foundation Repair in Council Bluffs, IA
The foundation in this Council Bluffs ranch home was experiencing the settling and moisture issues common to Iowa's glacial clay soils, which retain water unevenly and cause differential movement in older structures. The crawlspace showed signs of moisture intrusion and lacked the drainage infrastructure needed to manage water migrating through the foundation walls and floor.
Epp Foundation Repair installed interior drainage along the foundation perimeter to redirect water away from the basement and crawlspace, then completed crawlspace encapsulation to prevent future moisture problems. The work also included waterproofing measures to seal the foundation against ongoing water infiltration. The entire project was documented across 10 site visits with 218 on-site photos taken by two crew members, ensuring thorough tracking of each repair phase.
Completed and documented on site by Epp Foundation Repair’s field crew. Serving Iowa homeowners since 1994.
