Crawl Space Repair in Lincoln, Nebraska
The basement crawlspace at this Lincoln property presented the common foundation challenge of the region: an unfinished, exposed dirt floor and concrete foundation walls vulnerable to moisture intrusion and the seasonal expansion and contraction caused by expansive clay soils. The original condition showed bare concrete beams, exposed joists, and existing black drainage piping, but without proper encapsulation or interior drainage control, the foundation remained at risk from moisture movement through the soil.
Epp Foundation Repair installed crawlspace encapsulation and interior drainage to permanently address moisture infiltration and soil stress on the foundation. The work included laying vapor barrier matting across the crawlspace floor, installing a perimeter drainage system with dimpled matting and PVC pipe to direct water away from the foundation, and completing the encapsulation to seal the space from ground moisture. The final result shows a fully protected crawlspace with a complete moisture and drainage control system in place, documented across 24 on-site photos showing every phase of the installation.
Completed and documented on site by Epp Foundation Repair’s field crew. Serving Nebraska homeowners since 1994.
