Basement Waterproofing in Lincoln, NE
The foundation at this Lincoln property showed signs of moisture management challenges common to Nebraska's expansive clay soils, which shift seasonally and direct water toward basement perimeters. The BEFORE photos revealed gravel drainage beds and moisture staining along the concrete foundation, indicating that water was not being effectively directed away from the structure. Downspouts discharged directly at the foundation base, allowing rainwater to pool near the concrete and increase hydrostatic pressure on the basement walls.
Epp Foundation Repair installed yard drainage and applied joint sealant to address these moisture entry points and direct surface water away from the foundation perimeter. The AFTER photo shows the completed exterior water management system with a PVC downspout extension positioned to carry roof runoff safely away from the foundation base, supported by gravel and landscape fabric for stability and drainage function. This work was thoroughly documented across 4 site visits with 27 on-site photos and a 3-member crew to ensure proper installation and long-term performance.
Completed and documented on site by Epp Foundation Repair’s field crew. Serving Nebraska homeowners since 1994.
