Concrete Leveling in Hastings, NE: Foam Lifting, October 2026
The brick foundation at this Hastings property showed significant deterioration across multiple joints, with eroded mortar, exposed aggregate, and efflorescence indicating long-term moisture infiltration. Adams County's clay soils, which have moderate shrink-swell characteristics, contribute to foundation stress and water intrusion issues common in the region. The damaged mortar joints had compromised the foundation's ability to shed water and protect the underlying structure.
Epp Foundation Repair sealed the deteriorated joints and installed drainage and flashing work at the roof-to-wall transition to redirect water away from the brick veneer and foundation base. The completed work restored the integrity of the mortar joints and the building envelope, preventing future moisture damage to the foundation. The entire project was documented across 3 site visits with 118 on-site photos and work performed by 3 crew members.
Completed and documented on site by Epp Foundation Repair’s field crew. Serving Nebraska homeowners since 1994.
