Concrete Leveling in Council Bluffs, Iowa
The foundation at this Council Bluffs home showed significant settlement and displacement of concrete flatwork, with visible gaps between slabs and uneven stepping at the entry stairs. Clay soils common to Pottawattamie County, with their moderate shrink-swell rating, contribute to the ground movement that caused the original concrete to shift and settle unevenly over time.
Epp Foundation Repair performed concrete flatwork installation and joint sealant work to restore level, functional surfaces at the foundation. The completed work shows new concrete flatwork with properly sealed joints, resulting in a clean, even surface for safe entry and drainage. The project was fully documented across 2 site visits with 69 on-site photos and a 2-person crew.
