Basement Waterproofing in Crete, NE
The foundation at this Crete home showed classic signs of water intrusion and settlement issues common to Nebraska's expansive clay soils. The BEFORE inspection revealed efflorescence and moisture staining on the concrete walls, visible gaps at the garage threshold, and differential grading around the foundation perimeter, all indicating that water was entering the basement and the structure had shifted with seasonal soil movement.
Epp Foundation Repair installed interior drainage work along the foundation wall base and completed new concrete flatwork with proper control joints and landscape edging to direct water away from the structure. The finished work restored a solid, properly-sloped concrete pad at the critical garage threshold and sealed the junction points where water intrusion had occurred. The entire project was documented across 20 on-site photos during 2 site visits to ensure proper execution and long-term protection for the home.
Completed and documented on site by Epp Foundation Repair’s field crew. Serving Nebraska homeowners since 1994.
