Basement Waterproofing in Bruning, NE
The basement at this Bruning property showed a vertical crack running through the concrete block foundation wall, evidence of the settlement and moisture movement common to Nebraska's expansive clay soils. Water management was already a concern, as indicated by the existing sump pump system visible in the utility room. The foundation required both interior moisture control and exterior drainage work to prevent future water infiltration and structural stress.
Epp Foundation Repair installed interior drainage and a vapor barrier system throughout the basement and crawl space, running white PVC piping along the foundation walls and connecting to a manifold distribution system mounted to the ceiling. Exterior work included new concrete flatwork and yard drainage features with gravel beds installed around the foundation perimeter, directing water away from the structure. The completed project encompassed 5 site visits with 3 crew members documenting 159 on-site photos to ensure thorough workmanship and accountability.
Completed and documented on site by Epp Foundation Repair’s field crew. Serving Nebraska homeowners since 1994.
